ScoreSphere - Privacy Policy

ScoreSphere ("us", "we", or "our") operates the ScoreSphere mobile application (the "App").

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

We collect your personal data for the purpose of providing and improving the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use
We collect the following types of personal data for user account management purposes:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Address
This data is collected through in-app forms during registration and when users decide to edit their information.

Data Storage and Security
  • Personal data is stored locally on the device using AsyncStorage to facilitate user access without needing to re-login.
  • User passwords are encrypted using bcrypt's algorithms and stored in a hashed format in our SQL database.
  • Access to user data is restricted to authenticated and authorized users.

Data Sharing We do not share personal data with third parties.
The only access to user data is within our SQL database and API layer for app functionality.

User Control
Users can modify their personal data through the profile page within the application.

Age Restriction
There is no age restriction for using ScoreSphere. Access is currently limited to a small number of users controlled by the developer.

Consent
User data is manually provided at the time of sign-up. By providing this data directly, users are assumed to consent to its collection and use for app functionality.

Changes to This Privacy
Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. This policy is effective as of April 11, 2024.
